I’ve recently been looking at setting up an online personal training business to add an additional income stream to my other fitness businesses.
For the past few weeks I’ve been spending time searching various online personal trainer Facebook groups for ideas and inspiration.
And, I noticed one question gets asked daily…
‘What onliner personal trainer software should I use… Trainerize or PT Distinction?”
So, rather than you spending hours scrolling through Facebook groups looking for all the pros and cons, I’ve put together this blog post to help you make your decision.
This is by no means the definitive list, in fact today I’ll be registering for a free trial account to test both software’s thoroughly.
Then, I’ll choose which software is best for my business and will update this blog post with my findings.
Update: 22nd February 2017
It's been a few months since I started this post, so I felt it was time for an update.
The truth is my both personal training certification business and fitness marketing agency have exploded in the past couple of months so I didn't get time to trial both softwares as much as I would have liked.
But, here's a quick list of the pros and cons;
- Easy YouTube integration of your own workouts and videos
- Has the ability to sync with more apps
- Simple setup, can get started quicker
- Cannot brand the app as your own (however, there is talk on Facebook groups this is being launched soon)
Pt Distinction Review
- Ability to brand the app as your own
- Ability to have clients sign up to pre-made packages
- Longer learning curve
Overall, if I were to set up an online personal training in the future I would go with PT Distinction. Although it comes with a slightly longer learning curve, the ability to brand the APP as your own seals the deal. [embed_popupally_pro popup_id=”2″]
